Phu Tho Province advances data‑driven governance

On 4 August, Phu Tho Province held a mid‑year review conference to assess implementation of the Party’s Resolution 57‑NQ/TW on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Vice Prime Minister Ho Quốc Dũng attended and signed a cooperation agreement with the National Innovation Center.

The province reported that its digital economy now accounts for about 22.71 % of GRDP, ranking third among 34 provinces and cities. Electronic document processing in Party organs exceeds 94 % and online public service transactions surpass 95 %. New initiatives include a data‑governance system that integrates artificial intelligence for real‑time monitoring, KPI/OKR analysis and early‑warning alerts. About 600 local enterprises operate in the digital sector, with exports of digital products valued at over USD 7 billion. By 31 July, Phu Tho had completed 276 tasks linked to the resolution and central directives.
