Vice TV announces ‘Everybody Hates’ sports docuseries

Vice TV has greenlit ‘Everybody Hates’, an anthology docuseries exploring the lives of polarizing figures in the sports world. The series aims to examine how certain athletes became subjects of intense public debate and cultural conversation.

The series is scheduled to debut on October 27, beginning with an episode on YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. Subsequent episodes will profile various athletes, including NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, WNBA star Caitlin Clark, former NFL quarterback Michael Vick, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, and boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Each episode will feature interviews with former teammates, coaches, and notable sports figures such as Jemele Hill and Kevin Baxter. Vice TV President Pete Gaffney stated that the series looks beyond headlines to understand how these figures became symbols of larger cultural discussions.
