Vicente López begins full renovation of Plaza Vienni
The Municipality of Vicente López has begun a comprehensive renovation of Plaza Vienni in Villa Martelli. The project, which commenced on September 8, is scheduled for completion by December 21.
Mayor Soledad Martínez stated that the work aims to provide a modern and safe space for local residents. Key improvements include the expansion of the children's playground, the addition of a foot tennis area, and the enlargement of the local amphitheater. The new playground will feature a chess theme to honor the historical connection between Villa Martelli and the Círculo de Ajedrez de Villa Martelli school.
While modernizing the space, the project will preserve the plaza's traditional fountain. Other planned upgrades include new internal paths, automatic irrigation, improved landscaping, new concrete benches, tables, chairs, drinking fountains, and a recycling point.
