Vicente López deploys modern hybrid patrol cars to strengthen city security

The municipality of Vicente López in Argentina has added new hybrid patrol vehicles to its police fleet. The armored cars are equipped with internal and external cameras, microphones, a radio base, sirens and beacons, and run on automatic hybrid technology that lowers fuel consumption and emissions. Mayor Soledad Martínez presented the vehicles, stressing that the upgrade is part of an integrated security system that includes permanent street presence, video surveillance, Safe Points, the Digital Ring, the ESCUDO monitoring center and coordinated response teams. The new patrols aim to speed up emergency response, improve crime prevention and provide residents with a greater sense of safety, while the city continues to invest its own resources to maintain higher security standards than many neighboring municipalities.
