Vicente López inaugurates Argentina’s first adapted Joy of moving playground

The municipality of Vicente López and Ferrero Argentina have inaugurated Argentina’s first adapted ‘Joy of moving’ playground at Municipal Kindergarten No. 8 in the La Lucila neighborhood.

Designed to promote integration and healthy development, the playground features equipment made from recycled rubber. The design utilizes neutral colors to reduce visual stimulation, aiming to create an inclusive and accessible environment that prevents overexposure and allows all children to participate equally.

The initiative includes theoretical and practical training for the institution, along with the delivery of sports materials to support the ‘Joy of moving’ method. This method focuses on four pillars: physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive function, and creativity and skills. This public-private collaboration follows previous program implementations in other local schools, such as Manuel Dorrego, Emma Pérez Ferreira, and Kindergarten No. 6.
