Vicente López named American City of Sport 2026

The municipality of Vicente López has been named the ‘American City of Sport 2026’ by ACES América. This distinction recognizes cities across the continent for their commitment to promoting sports and physical activity through infrastructure, sports policies, and community initiatives.

To celebrate the award, the district held the ‘American Sports Week,’ a series of sporting and cultural activities held at various locations. The festivities concluded at the Vial Costero in Olivos, involving local athletes, clubs, and community members. Mayor Soledad Martínez highlighted the importance of the local network of neighborhood clubs and the collaborative effort between the public and private sectors in achieving this international recognition.
