Vicente López opens calls for Municipal Arts Fund and Book Fair

The Municipality of Vicente López has launched several calls for participation to promote local culture, including the Municipal Arts Fund and the Vicente López Book Fair.

The Municipal Arts Fund offers stimulus grants to up to 10 local artists and 3 alternates. Eligible applicants must be over 18 years old and residents of the district with ongoing projects in music, audiovisual/multimedia arts, visual arts, performing arts, or literature. The deadline for submissions is September 27.

Additionally, the Vicente López Book Fair is seeking participants, including publishing houses, bookstores, libraries, writers, and illustrators. Registration is open until October 4. Selected exhibitors will participate in the event on November 7 and 8 at Quinta Trabucco and other local cultural spaces. The Secretariat of Culture will manage stand assignments, which may be individual or shared.

Other municipal calls include residencies in circus arts, theater and dance programs for adolescents, educational institutions, and the Vicente López nurseries.
