Vicente López Rodea, leader of Grupo La Costeña, has died

Vicente López Rodea, a prominent Mexican businessman and key figure in the food industry, has passed away. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Grupo La Costeña, a major canned and preserved food company founded by his family in 1923.

López Rodea was also a founder, partner, and board member of the National Chamber of the Canned Food Industry (CANAINCA). Following his death, both CANAINCA and the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (CONCAMIN) issued statements expressing their condolences to his family and the employees of La Costeña.
