Global initiatives advance disability rights and social inclusion

Various nations are implementing initiatives to improve inclusion and rights for persons with disabilities. In Nicaragua, the Ministry of Education and local authorities are highlighting advances in inclusive education and providing medical attention fairs across several municipalities.

In Argentina, several regional efforts are underway. In Chubut, authorities are working to unify criteria for child protection services. In Jujuy, the Ministry of Human Development is offering free access to the National Student Election for people with disabilities. Additionally, Vicente López is organizing an operation to facilitate the free Multimodal Free Pass for transportation.

In Colombia, the House of Representatives held sessions to review the Caregiver Law, focusing on the economic and social impact of caregiving work.
