Vicente Tamborda linked to Italy national football team

Vicente Tamborda, an Argentine midfielder playing for Panathinaikos, is being considered as a potential candidate for the Italy national football team. Although born in Argentina, Tamborda holds Italian citizenship through family roots.

Reports indicate that Italy's coaching staff, led by Roberto Mancini, is looking to expand its scouting efforts to include players with Italian heritage playing in various European leagues. Tamborda's recent performances in Greece have drawn attention, with Italian media noting his progress since moving to Europe. While no official call-up has been made by the Italian federation, his consistent play is seen as a pathway toward international recognition.
