Vicentinho Junior proposes new safety and health measures for Tocantins
During a TV Anhanguera debate, Tocantins gubernatorial candidate Vicentinho Junior (PSDB) presented several proposals focused on public services and citizen safety.
To address violence against women, Junior proposed establishing 24-hour specialized police stations for women in all eight regions of Tocantins. His security platform also includes increasing police presence in rural municipalities and conducting new public exams to expand the force.
In the healthcare sector, the candidate advocated for decentralization to reduce the need for citizens to travel to major centers. This includes strengthening small-scale hospitals, completing ongoing hospital construction, and modernizing management. Additionally, his education proposals focus on expanding full-time schooling and creating technological centers to prepare youth for the labor market.
