Vicenza administrators meet to discuss provincial future

In Vicenza, over one hundred local administrators, including mayors and councilors, met to discuss the future of the Province of Vicenza. The meeting, organized by Andrea Turetta, Mayor of Grumolo delle Abbadesse, aims to develop an alternative proposal to the ‘Casa dei Comuni’ scheme.

Turetta criticized the current approach, arguing that the ‘Casa dei Comuni’ proposal was based on a preliminary agreement between the mayors of Vicenza and Bassano del Grappa before being presented to other administrators. The group intends to continue the debate ahead of the provincial council renewal scheduled for next spring.
