Vicenza announces ‘Inspiration Europe’ exhibition project

The Municipality of Vicenza has introduced ‘Inspiration Europe’, a new exhibition project hosted at the Basilica Palladiana. The initiative was presented to the press in Rome on October 6.

The project begins with an exhibition titled ‘Italy Germany’, scheduled to open on November 13. This first installment commemorates the 75th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The exhibition will feature over 150 works from artists including Canova, De Chirico, Boccioni, Kandinsky, and Richter, among others.

Vicenza Mayor Giacomo Possamai stated that the project is part of a trilogy of exhibitions designed to highlight cultural relations between Italy and Germany, followed by Italy and France, and finally Italy and Spain. The goal is to demonstrate how cultural exchanges contribute to a shared European identity. Italian President Sergio Mattarella is expected to attend the official inauguration in Vicenza.
