Vicenza completes three major signings for Serie B promotion push

Vicenza has completed three significant signings to strengthen its squad for a promotion push to Serie B.

The most substantial investment is the permanent acquisition of striker Silvio Merkaj from Südtirol. The transfer is valued at approximately 800,000 euros, with a contract running until 2029. Including estimated wages, the total investment for the player is projected to approach two million euros.

In midfield, the club has secured Alessandro Bellemo from Sampdoria on a permanent transfer. The defensive line has been bolstered by the arrival of Andrea Papetti from Reggiana, an operation that involved the move of Michele Cavion in the opposite direction.
