Vicenza police repatriate Senegalese national with criminal record
Police in Vicenza, Italy, have expelled and repatriated a 27-year-old Senegalese national following a decree issued by the Prefect due to his criminal history. The individual, who had been in Italy since 2010, had accumulated various convictions and police reports, including personal injury, aggravated robbery, resisting public officials, and providing false information to authorities. He was also reported for drug trafficking and non-compliance with official orders.
Following the acquisition of necessary documentation from Senegalese consular authorities, the Questore of Vicenza ordered the individual to be escorted to Milan Malpensa airport for immediate repatriation to Dakar under international escort.
In 2026, the Vicenza Police Headquarters has issued a total of 75 expulsion decrees. These include 29 cases involving transfer to repatriation centers (CPR), 24 direct repatriations at the border, and 10 voluntary departures. Additionally, the Questore has issued 13 orders to leave the national territory.
