Vicenza, newly promoted to Serie B, opened its preseason with a 13-0 victory over Pinè at Bedollo. Coach Fabio Gallo fielded a 3-5-2 formation and kept the core lineup from last season. Nicola Rauti netted four goals, adding a brace early in the match and completing a hat‑trick before halftime. Other scorers included Claudio Morra, Pietrelli, Romio, Moncini, Talarico and Alessio.
