Vicenzaoro September 2026 opens with new pavilion and CIBJO centennial
The Vicenzaoro September 2026 international jewelry trade fair has opened in Vicenza, Italy, featuring 1,300 brands from 40 countries and approximately 900 buyers from 72 nations. This edition marks a significant expansion with the inauguration of the new 23,000 square meter Pavilion 2, a 60-million-euro investment by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) designed to improve visitor flow and integrate the entire supply chain.
Key highlights include the integration of T. Gold, a dedicated exhibition for jewelry-making technology and machinery, and the presence of the World Jewelry Congress, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of CIBJO (the World Confederation of Jewelry). The event also features VO Vintage, a consumer-facing show for collectible pieces.
Industry leaders noted that despite economic complexities, the fair remains a vital global reference point. Government officials have also addressed sector-specific challenges, including employment stability, access to credit, and energy costs, with a scheduled crisis meeting set for mid-September to discuss solutions for the jewelry and fashion supply chains.
