Vicky Xipolitakis discusses past struggle with anorexia

During an appearance on the Telefe program ‘PH, Podemos Hablar’, hosted by Andy Kusnetzoff, media personality Vicky Xipolitakis shared her experience struggling with anorexia during her adolescence.

Xipolitakis explained that bullying regarding her physical appearance and her desire to become a model led to the eating disorder. She stated that she reached a weight of only 35 kilograms, describing herself as ‘only bones’. She noted that the psychological impact of the bullying was profound, at times leaving her without the strength to get out of bed.

The turning point for her recovery came when she witnessed the emotional distress of her parents. Following this realization, she began therapy and emphasized the importance of seeking professional help and having family support to overcome such health challenges.
