Vico Equense road on SS 163 reopened after landslide, traffic limited to alternating one‑way
The Italian road agency ANAS restored traffic on the SS 163 Amalfitana at the Tordigliano section near Vico Equense after a landslide blocked the road. Mayor Giuseppe Aiello announced that the stretch will operate with alternating one‑way traffic, controlled by a semaphore system, while final safety works are completed.
Technical crews are finishing the stabilization of the rock slab at kilometre 9.7 and have warned drivers to avoid parking along the route, as parked vehicles could obstruct heavy‑vehicle movements. Full normal flow is expected once the remaining checks are finished, possibly the next day if no further incidents occur.
