Victony achieves career milestone with STARLIFE album debuts

Artist Victony has achieved a career milestone with the release of his album ‘STARLIFE’, which resulted in eight tracks debuting on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. This marks the strongest single week of his career on the ranking.

The lead single, ‘Slick’, remains at No. 2 for the third consecutive week and its eighth week overall on the chart. According to Luminate, ‘Slick’ recorded 900,000 official U.S. streams for the tracking week of August 21 to 27, representing a 10% increase from the previous week. This achievement surpasses Victony’s previous peak of No. 5, previously held by ‘Soweto’ and ‘Pity This Boy’.

With these new entries, Victony now has a total of 25 career entries on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. The new debuts include tracks featuring collaborators such as BNXN, Blaqbonez, YKB, Babyboy AV, FOLA, and Young Jonn. The parent album also debuted at No. 20 on the global album charts.
