Victor Crespo named head of Corporate Affairs for JTI Iberia
Japan Tobacco International (JTI) announced that Victor Crespo will become director of Corporate Affairs & Communication for its Iberian cluster, covering Portugal, mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, Andorra and Gibraltar. He takes up the role on 1 August.
Crespo has been with JTI since 2001, serving as Country Manager for Portugal in 2011 and later overseeing operations in the Canary Islands, Greece, Cyprus and Malta. From 2021 he led JTI’s global Innovation and Marketing & Sales team. He said the appointment is “especially meaningful because of my strong link to Portugal, where I have previously managed the business.”
In Portugal, external and institutional relations will continue to be handled by Ana Margarida Cordeiro, who remains Corporate Affairs & Communication Lead for the Portuguese market.
