Victor Crouin and three athletes join French National Police for 2028 Olympics

Four high-level athletes are joining the French National Police as reserve officers to prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Starting September 1, 2026, these recruits will balance athletic training with police duties.

The new members include squash star Victor Crouin, the current French number one and a top-ranked global competitor. Crouin is targeting a direct qualification for the historic Olympic debut of squash by aiming for victory at the 2027 European Games in Istanbul.

Other recruits include canoeist Pauline Freslon, judoka Martha Fawaz, and para-climber Aloïs Pottier. The recruitment drive, managed by the National Police Sports Mission, aims to strengthen France's competitive presence in various international disciplines ahead of the 2028 Games.
