Victor Nelsson leaves Galatasaray to return to Nordsjælland

Galatasaray has officially terminated the contract of Danish defender Victor Nelsson by mutual agreement, according to a notification sent to the Turkish Football Federation.

The 27-year-old center-back is expected to return to his former club, Nordsjælland, in Denmark. Reports indicate that parties have reached an agreement, and Nelsson is expected to travel to Farum for medical examinations to finalize the transfer.

Nelsson joined Galatasaray from Copenhagen in 2021 and became a key part of the defense, appearing in 144 matches and scoring 4 goals. During his tenure in Istanbul, he won the Süper Lig and the Süper Kupa. His recent seasons included loan spells in Italy with Roma and Hellas Verona.
