Victor Nelsson nears contract termination with Galatasaray

Danish international defender Victor Nelsson is reportedly in final negotiations with Galatasaray to terminate his contract. If the agreement is finalized, the 27-year-old will become a free agent.

Nelsson joined Galatasaray from FC Copenhagen in the summer of 2021 for approximately seven million euros. While he was a key figure in the club's defense during his first two seasons, helping them secure two Turkish championships, his role diminished following the arrival of Davinson Sánchez in 2023. This shift in hierarchy led to loan spells at AS Roma and Hellas Verona.
