Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has warned that emotions could boil over during the upcoming Istanbul derby against Fenerbahce. Following a 4-2 Champions League victory over Lille, the Nigerian forward acknowledged the intense rivalry between the two clubs, noting that such encounters can often result in chaos.

Amidst the buildup to the derby, former Turkish striker Ahmet Dursun has criticized Osimhen’s playing style. Speaking on Tivibu Spor, Dursun described the forward as “selfish” and claimed his approach could harm both himself and his team. Dursun suggested that Dušan Vlahović is a superior option for midfielders due to his ability to combine with teammates, contrasting it with Osimhen’s more individualistic attacking style.
