Victor Osimhen receives bead mosaic portrait in Erzurum
Sümeyye Aydın, an arts instructor based in Muş, and her students have presented Galatasaray football star Victor Osimhen with a custom mosaic portrait. The artwork, which depicts Osimhen's iconic goal celebration from a match against Fenerbahçe, was crafted using 135,000 beads.
The project took a team of four to five people approximately 3.5 months to complete. Aydın presented the gift to the Nigerian striker at the airport in Erzurum ahead of Galatasaray's match against Erzurumspor.
This is the second such gift provided by Aydın to the player. Last season, she and her students created a portrait of Osimhen with his mother using 72,000 crystal mosaic stones. Osimhen previously described that earlier gift as 'the most meaningful gift I have ever received in my life.'
