Victor Reyes leads Choi Won-jun in KBO single-season hits race

The race for the KBO League single-season hits record has reached a climax between Lotte Giants hitter Victor Reyes and KT Wiz hitter Choi Won-jun. Both players have surpassed the previous single-season record of 202 hits set by Reyes in 2024.

Following a game against the LG Twins on October 10, Reyes recorded his 205th hit of the season, moving slightly ahead of Choi, who sits at 204 hits. Choi had previously set a new benchmark on October 7 after recording three hits in a game against the Samsung Lions.

The competition is entering its final stages with both players having limited games remaining. Reyes currently has three games left, while Choi has two. The outcome will determine who claims the title for the most hits in a single KBO season.
