Victor Reyes sets KBO single-season hit record with 211 hits

Victor Reyes of the Lotte Giants set a new KBO League single-season record by recording 211 hits during the regular season finale against the Doosan Bears at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. Reyes finished the game with four hits in five at-bats, including a home run, surpassing his own previous record of 202 hits set in 2024.

Lotte secured a 7-4 victory to conclude their season in seventh place. Beyond the statistical achievement, Reyes received significant attention for his sportsmanship; after reaching the milestone in the eighth inning, he bowed to both the Lotte supporters in the third-base dugout and the Doosan fans in the first-base stands who applauded his record-breaking performance.

Other notable contributions in the game included home runs from Lotte players Han Dong-hee and Son Seong-bin.
