Victor Stînă and Nicolae Stanciu find success in foreign leagues

Moldovan international Victor Stînă has described his transfer to the Azerbaijani club Kapaz Ganja as the most significant challenge of his career. After returning to Zimbru Chișinău earlier this year, Stînă accepted the offer from the Azerbaijani side in August. He recently contributed to Kapaz Ganja's 1-0 victory over Turan Tovuz by scoring the winning goal in the 47th minute.

In China, Romanian national team captain Nicolae Stanciu has scored twice in four days. Following a decisive goal in a cup quarter-final against Shanghai Shenhua, the 33-year-old scored again in the 10th minute of a league match for Dalian Yingbo against Qingdao Hainiu. While a league title remains out of reach, Dalian Yingbo has secured a place in the Chinese Cup semi-finals.
