Victor Wembanyama claims he can score 100 points in an NBA game

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama has expressed confidence in his ability to score 100 points in a single NBA game. During a recent interview with French content creator Rookicks, the 22-year-old forward was asked if he believed such a feat was possible, to which he replied, “I agree, yeah.”

If achieved, this would break the long-standing record set by Wilt Chamberlain, who scored 100 points for the Philadelphia Warriors against the New York Knicks on March 2, 1962. Chamberlain’s record has stood for over 64 years. Recent high-scoring performances include Bam Adebayo’s 83-point game in March 2026.

Wembanyama’s current career high is 50 points, achieved in November 2024 against the Washington Wizards. As he enters his fourth year in the league, his rising profile has significantly increased the San Antonio Spurs' national television exposure and visibility within the NBA.
