Victor Wembanyama expresses desire to play with Evan Fournier on the Spurs

NBA star Victor Wembanyama expressed interest in having French teammate Evan Fournier join him on the San Antonio Spurs. During a recent Q&A session at the "Hoops Gambit" in Nantes, Wembanyama was asked which French player he would choose to bring to the Spurs, and he identified the 34-year-old veteran as his first choice.

Fournier, who currently plays for Olympiacos, and Wembanyama are teammates on the French national team, where they recently secured a silver medal at the 2024 Olympics. The two players also share a connection to the club Nantes, which served as the starting point for both of their professional careers.
