Victoria announces 2026 MAVlab Innovation Awards finalists

The Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) has announced the finalists for the 2026 MAVlab Innovation Awards. The recognition includes 40 projects from 21 Victorian councils across 13 different categories.

The awards aim to highlight innovative approaches within local government, focusing on projects that address complex community challenges and rethink traditional council operations. In addition to the main finalists, 29 entries received Bright Spark Special Commendations for their emerging potential. Category winners are scheduled to be announced on 17 September 2026.
