Victoria hosts various community festivals and events this weekend

Victoria is hosting several community events from August 14th to 16th. The second annual VegFest will take place at Centennial Square, featuring vegan food vendors, live music, and plant-based lifestyle discussions.

The Victoria Film Festival is also hosting its ‘Free-B Film Festival’ at the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park. This month-long outdoor event features cult classic B-movies, including a screening of ‘The Last Man on Earth’.

Other local activities include the 15th annual Fibrations Festival at the Fernwood Community Centre, the Day of the Dog Festival on Dallas Road, and the Victoria Renaissance Faire at Banfield Park. Additionally, the Sidney Sidewalk Sale will feature over 80 local businesses.
