Victoria Ruffo hospitalized due to norovirus infection

Mexican actress Victoria Ruffo was recently hospitalized due to a norovirus infection. The highly contagious virus caused severe gastrointestinal symptoms, including intense vomiting, diarrhea, and significant dehydration.

Ruffo shared that the medical emergency required immediate attention because she was losing fluids faster than she could consume them. She noted that the illness caused her to miss work during the early days of September.

The actress emphasized the importance of hand hygiene to prevent infection, noting that the virus can easily be contracted by touching one's mouth with contaminated hands. Ruffo has since recovered and is expected to return to television productions soon.
