Victoriabank appoints two new Board members

Victoriabank shareholders have approved changes to the bank’s Board of Directors, appointing Bogdan Pleșuvescu and Ioan Șumandea-Simionescu as new members. Their appointments are subject to approval by the National Bank of Moldova.

Both new members bring extensive experience from the Banca Transilvania Group. Bogdan Pleșuvescu, who currently serves as Deputy General Director at Banca Transilvania, previously held the role of Chairman of the Steering Committee at Victoriabank between 2018 and 2023. Ioan Șumandea-Simionescu has served as the Director of Corporate Governance at Banca Transilvania since 2022.

In addition to the leadership changes, shareholders decided to distribute over 187 million lei in dividends from the 2025 profit.
