Victoria's Secret stock falls after quarterly sales miss
Victoria's Secret shares fell 14% in a single week following the release of its second-quarter fiscal 2026 results. While the company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.95—exceeding analyst expectations—total revenue of $1.61 billion fell approximately $10 million short of the average Wall Street target.
Despite the quarterly sales miss, the company's profit nearly tripled, supported by improved merchandise margins and tariff rebates. In response to the performance, Victoria's Secret raised its full-year sales guidance to a range of $7.1 billion to $7.18 billion and increased its adjusted operating income target to between $560 million and $590 million.
Investors remain cautious as CEO Hillary Super works to demonstrate that the brand's turnaround efforts, including new product lines and revamped brand positioning, can sustain long-term growth.
