Victorville hit-and-run: $1M warrant issued for suspect

A $1 million arrest warrant has been issued for 50-year-old Terry Lamar Easter, also known as “Capone,” following a fatal hit-and-run in Victorville, California. Authorities allege that on August 14, Easter was driving a Chevrolet Camaro that collided with a vehicle carrying two teenage girls, Isabell DeLand, 16, and Maddalyn Dailey, 17. The impact was so severe that it reportedly tore the teens’ vehicle in half, killing both girls at the scene.

Investigators claim that after the collision, Easter fled the scene on foot, leaving his 11-year-old son behind in the passenger seat. A second driver, operating a Dodge Charger, remained at the site and was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. Two other individuals linked to Easter, Ryan Lewis and Madge Wells, have already been taken into custody. The California Highway Patrol has warned that Easter is considered armed and dangerous.
