Victory Trading added to US sanctions list over alleged ties to Brazil's PCC
Victory Trading Intermediação de Negócios, Cobrança e Tecnologia, the firm linked to the Corinthians sponsorship contract known as "Vai de Bet," was placed on a United States Treasury sanctions list for purported connections to the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). The company’s partner, Victor Henrique de Oliveira Shimada, was also sanctioned, with US authorities alleging the network moved illicit funds between the United States and Brazil.
Brazilian investigators have traced recent financial activity by Victory Trading, including two transfers on 1 April 2024 that moved a total of R$ 1 million to Buzeira Digital after an earlier R$ 200 000 payment to UJ Football Talent – both entities previously flagged in money‑laundering probes. The Police Civil inquiry focuses on the flow of sponsorship money tied to the Corinthians‑Betco contract, while prosecutors in São Paulo continue to pursue money‑laundering charges against Shimada and other implicated executives.
