Vidal Valero di Lorenzo wins Spanish weightlifting championship

Vidal Valero di Lorenzo has been crowned the Spanish weightlifting champion in the heavyweight category. The competition, held in Alfàs del Pi, saw the athlete match a mark of 150 kilograms.

Valero's victory follows a challenging year marked by injuries. During the championship, he had to overcome a sudden quadriceps pain at the start of the event to secure his position on the podium. Following this achievement, he plans to enter a period of rest and recovery before preparing for next year's World Championship.
