Video game developers announce new expansions for Darkest Dungeon and Total War: Warhammer 3

Red Hook Studios has released a trailer for the Darkest Dungeon: The Fire’s Edge expansion, introducing new mechanics and characters. The update features two new recruits: the Duelist, a high-mobility offensive specialist, and the Runaway, who utilizes fire-based damage to control the battlefield. The expansion also adds three new districts to the Hamlet—the Suburbs, the Alchemical Tower, and the Forgotten Crypts—to enhance resource management and strategic upgrades.

Separately, Creative Assembly has shared details regarding the Lords of the End Times expansion for Total War: Warhammer 3. The update focuses on Nagash, a powerful necromancer described as potentially the most powerful single character in the game. Nagash can transform settlements into specialized sites like Pirate Coves or Burial Chambers to access various undead factions. Players can also build Necropolises to gather energy for building upgrades and unit recruitment, while seeking Nagash's Books to unlock new spells.
