Video game developers share updates on Path of Exile 2 and Palworld
Developers of major titles Path of Exile 2 and Palworld have shared updates regarding their upcoming full releases.
Jonathan Rogers, head of Path of Exile 2, revealed that the game's version 1.0, planned for December 11, will feature a non-traditional campaign finale described as more than a single act. The update will also include the addition of Acts V and VI, while current 'Interludes' will be integrated into the endgame or side quests. Additionally, Grinding Gear Games is working on a Polish localization for the series.
Meanwhile, Pocketpair reported unexpected success following the 1.0 release of Palworld. John Buckley, responsible for publishing and communication, noted that concurrent user counts far exceeded studio expectations. While player numbers had fluctuated during early access, the full release saw Steam concurrent users peak at over two million, with nearly one million players remaining shortly after the debut. The studio continues to maintain a strong presence on the Steam platform.
