Video game industry highlights 2026 releases and Serbian presence at Gamescom

The video game industry is seeing significant activity in both upcoming releases and international trade presence. Major titles slated for 2026 include Grand Theft Auto VI, which Rockstar Games has scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Other notable upcoming games include Marvel’s Wolverine, Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Forza Horizon 6, and Pokémon Pokopia.

In the business sector, a large delegation of twelve Serbian companies is participating in Gamescom in Cologne. Supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the delegation represents various segments of the gaming ecosystem, including development, publishing, art production, localization, and marketing. The presence at the global trade fair aims to foster international business contacts and showcase the competitiveness of the Serbian gaming industry.
