Video game industry updates: Metal Gear Solid and Dynasty Warriors collections

Recent gaming releases include the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 and the Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered.

The Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is noted for its historical importance, specifically for bringing Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots to modern hardware after eighteen years of being exclusive to PlayStation 3. The collection also includes Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel.

Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered, developed by Omega Force and Koei Tecmo, updates the 2001 classic set during the Three Kingdoms period. The remaster aims to preserve the original experience while introducing modern mechanics and graphical improvements. It is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.
