Vidhatri Urs leads first round of WPGT 13th leg in Gurugram

Vidhatri Urs took the lead in the first round of the 13th leg of the Women's Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram. Despite a difficult start with three consecutive bogeys in the first three holes, Urs recovered to shoot a 3-under 69, featuring seven birdies and one additional bogey.

Jasmine Shekhar finished the round in second place with a 71, two strokes behind Urs. Other notable performances included Diksha Dagar and Mannat Brar, who tied for third place with an even-par 72. Gaurika Bishnoi and Vani Kapoor shared fifth place after shooting 1-over 73.

Urs, who previously won the 10th leg at Jayon Hills this season, demonstrated significant resilience to overcome her early deficit. The tournament serves as a precursor to the upcoming Women's Indian Open.
