Vidipha Pharmaceutical fined 812.5 million VND for tax violations

Vidipha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (VDP) has been ordered to pay more than 800 million VND in tax arrears, penalties, and late payment fees. According to a decision from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department dated September 9, 2026, the total amount due is 812.5 million VND.

The breakdown of the payment includes 108.7 million VND in penalties for incorrect tax declarations leading to corporate income tax shortages, 543.9 million VND in tax arrears, and 159.8 million VND in late payment interest.

This regulatory action coincides with significant shifts in the company's shareholder structure. During August 2026, several new major shareholders emerged, including Le Quang Hai, who increased his ownership to 22.5%, and Nguyen Thi Yen, who reached 11.95%. Conversely, Vidipha's Chairman, Kieu Huu, divested his entire 7.5% stake in the company during the same period.
