Viedma Expo Alfajor 2026 generates 70 million pesos
The second edition of Expo Alfajor Viedma 2026 concluded with an estimated economic movement exceeding 70 million pesos. Held at the Sol de Mayo Club, the event featured 18 local alfajor producers and 15 regional food producers.
According to the Viedma Secretariat of Economic Development, local producers sold over 10,000 alfajores, generating more than 50 million pesos in direct sales. Regional food products contributed an additional 18 million pesos. The remaining economic activity was driven by gastronomic spaces, ice cream parlors, cafes, and artisans. The municipality stated the event aims to strengthen local entrepreneurship and promote the consumption of regional products.
