Vien Anh Travel fined for unlicensed student field trips in Ha Tinh

The Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee has issued an administrative fine of nearly 385 million VND against Vien Anh Travel Operation Co., Ltd. for conducting travel services without a required license.

In April 2026, the company signed contracts with four schools in Ha Tinh—Ky Thinh Secondary School, Ky Ninh Primary School, Trinh Loi Secondary School, and Song Tri Secondary School—to organize experiential trips for thousands of students. The tours included destinations such as the Kim Lien Relic Site, Dong Loc Junction, and the Ha Huy Tap Relic Site, as well as locations in Quang Tri province.

Authorities determined that the company lacked the necessary travel service business license at the time the contracts were signed and executed. The penalty includes 95 million VND for each of the four violations, totaling 380 million VND, plus the repayment of over 4.69 million VND in illegal profits. The Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has been tasked with monitoring the company's compliance with this decision.
