Stade facility reopens as Vienna approves Erdberg redevelopment
A mother-child facility in Stade, Germany, has reopened four months after a shooting incident that claimed the lives of six people, including the facility's founder, Ilka Lindner. The facility, operated by Stethu GmbH, will now be managed by Ilka's daughter, Kiara Lindner. While the building has been renovated, one room remains permanently closed to serve as a memorial to the crime scene.
In Vienna, Austria, urban planners have approved a new development concept for the Erdberg district. The plan includes the construction of a new high-rise building by developer ARWAG and the creation of a 5,000-square-meter public rooftop park. The project also aims to revitalize the area under the Southeast Tangent by replacing the current Erdberg bus station with a new terminal at Handelskai, freeing up space for sports, gastronomy, and green areas.
