Vienna ATP 500: Musetti and Cobolli face difficult draws

The ATP 500 tournament in Vienna, scheduled from October 26 to November 1, features challenging matchups for Italian players Lorenzo Musetti and Flavio Cobolli. Both athletes face high-level opponents in a bracket heavily influenced by the presence of Alexander Zverev and the wildcard debut of Carlos Alcaraz.

Lorenzo Musetti is set to face Frances Tiafoe, the sixth seed, in an opening challenge. Flavio Cobolli faces Grigor Dimitrov. The tournament also marks a significant absence for the field, as defending champion Jannik Sinner is unable to compete due to a right knee injury.

This follows recent competitive history between Musetti and Cobolli, including a notable semifinal encounter at the ATP event in Lyon, where both players sought to bolster their season standings amidst physical fatigue and scheduling pressures.
