Vienna Humanities Festival 2026 to explore human agency

The Vienna Humanities Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 23 to 27. Organized by the Institute for Human Sciences as part of an Ideas Month, the festival aims to explore human agency and the ability to influence the world amidst global crises and the rise of machine replacement.

The program features nearly 40 individual events, including lectures, expert panels, and public debates. A keynote presentation by Kara Swisher, titled ‘The Tech Bros: What Do They Want and What Can We Do About It?’, is set for September 23 at TU Wien.
